Chapter 10

The HERO

After a lengthy conversation with the “Agents”, I returned home. My wife was at deep sleep. Janet and Peter would have left already. I tried not to disturb my wife while climbing up the bed. But I could not succeed. She woke up.

“Where were you?”

“I wandered aimlessly”, “But it turned out to be an eventful night”, “I didn’t want to disturb your sleep. I will tell you all I can tomorrow morning”

“Hm. Nope. Now that I am awake. I am ready to hear everything”

I told her the whole story. We went to bed not knowing what is in store for me. 

But for the first time in a long time I felt like I have done something good. I hugged my wife . She hugged me back. We cuddled and mingled for the first time in a long time. I felt like she felt my change and happier for me than the happier for the pleasure we had that night.
