Chapter 16

The Danger

One day while myself and Angela were playing catch at central park, my cellphone rang.

"Yes Honey....can you hold a sec, let me inform Angelina" "I covered the mic, 

"Angi, Mom is calling, give me few mins"

"Sure Dad.."

I sat on the picnic carpet.  Angelina continued to play ball. 

She threw the ball by herself, it got into the trees. I was looking at her nodding to fetch it . It was a good throw, I let my guard down that one day.

I concentrated on the phone call. In about 2 minutes Angie is not back yet. I looked for her then I saw him. A strange man in his 40s was talking  to her. He had the ball in one hand, he has chocolate bar on the other, Angelina was trying to get away but he was trying to grab her. 
I moved at a fast pace towards her. He saw me coming towards him. He dropped the ball and flashed to the woods.
